Apocalypse Never is a book I highly recommend to anyone who struggles with anxieties over the current state of climate change. Author, Michael Shellenberger describes the current global issues surrounding climate change in an eloquently positive way. He gets down to the nitty-gritty of politics, resource use, and dogma within the ‘science’ and media coverage of climate change. This book inspired me to write about climate change, seeing how we as environmental humanists can compete in this apocalyptic scene of activists and fear mongers. To read this book you don’t need a Ph.D. in biology, nor do you need a complete understanding of the world’s agenda, simply leave your current opinions at the door and start looking within these systems of misunderstanding and misrepresentation of scientific evidence.
